General description
Application
- Media that tends to foam like tenside solutions.
- Media with high vapor pressure (up to 500 mbar) such as ether, alcohol, and hydrocarbons.
- Highly viscous (up to 140,000mm2/s) media like oils, proteins, fats, and resins.
- High density (up to 13.6g/cm3) media such as mercury, sulfuric acid, and glycerine.
Features and Benefits
- The positive displacement principle enables the piston to be in direct contact with the aspirated liquid.
- The tightly fit piston keeps the walls of the tips clean always to provide reliable results.
- As residual wetting is negligible, after each pipetting session there is no need to dispose of the tips.
- The working temperature range includes 15°C to 40°C.
