W-13 is a membrane-permeable calmodulin antagonist.

W-13 is a membrane-permeable calmodulin antagonist. W-13 inhibits Ca²⁺-calmodulin-dependent phosphodiesterase and has been shown to inhibit the EGF-dependent activation of EGFR in N7xHERc fibroblasts.

W-13 has also been shown to inhibit the transcytosis of IgA, recycling of transferrin and overall alter the endocytic pathway in Madin-Darby canine kidney cells.
