For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.

General description
Application
- Calibration of the polymer-based column in the estimation of molecular weight of the polysaccharide fractions obtained from seaweeds— S. latissima and M. stellatus, by a high-performance size exclusion chromatography (HPSEC) method
- Measurement of molecular masses of oligomeric cellulose by size exclusion chromatography in combination with multi-angle laser light scattering (MALLS) detection
- To calibrate the SEC column in the determination of molecular size distribution of microalgal native glycogen
- Quantitative analysis of membrane formation process of alginate–chitosan microcapsules using gel permeation chromatography(GPC).
Other Notes
The standards need to be weighed before use. Suitable for calibrations in aqueous solutions and DMSO.
Kit contains 10 different pullulan standards, each 100 mg, with Mp ranging from ~350 to ~700,000.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. This product is intended for use as a calibration standard for GPC/SEC/GFC systems. While there is not specification for the Mp values, these are reported on the lot specific Certificate of Analysis.
