Opis

General description

Iohexol is a non-ionic, water-soluble contrast agent used as a reference marker to determine the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) which measures the level of kidney function. It finds applications in angiographic and urography procedures.

Iohexol may be used as an internal standard for the determination of iohexol in human plasma, serum and urine samples by HPLC-UV method.
