Steritest® Sampling Needle-Free Valve is designed as an accessory which is installed on Steritest® Neo Devices. The valve has a male luer slip and a female luer lock with a septum. The valve can be activated by a male luer without a needle.
The unique design allows aseptic installation (inside an isolator) post media filling step during sterility testing. The installation is recommended when a sampling of the media is planned.
Post installation, the media inside the canisters can be accessed through a luer syringe. Sampled media from Steritest® canisters can be further used for:
