硫酸镍(II)六水合物(NiSO4 6H2O)可作为镍前体,用于制备:     
  • 钯-镍双金属纳米颗粒(Pd-Ni),用于催化 Buchwald-Hartwig胺化反应。
  • NiFe2O4 纳米粒子(NPs),应用于制备葡萄糖生物传感器。

它还可作为可回收催化剂用于:      
  • 通过芳香醛、伯胺和亚磷酸二乙酯一锅法三组分反应合成 α-氨基磷酸酯。      
  • 在Langlois′ 试剂(CF3SO2Na)作为CF3 源和过硫酸钾(K2S2O8)作为引发剂参与下的芳基胺三氟甲基化。
