일반 설명

Capillary GC column is also known as open tubular column. The carrier gas flows through the central aperture and is unrestricted throughout the length of the column.[1]

Containing permethylated α-cyclodextrin embedded in an intermediate polarity stationary phase, Supelco α-DEX 120 columns provide unique selectivity for enantiomeric separations of small molecules. They are also recommended for separating positional isomers (phenols, xylenes, etc.).

애플리케이션

α-DEX^™ 120 was used in a GC column, in an experiment conducted to study the addition of catalytic enantioselective diethylzinc to a-substituted aldehyde, in presence of enantiopure ligand.[2] It was also used to pack chiral column durin GC analysis, in an experiment to investigate lipase-mediated desymmetrization of glycerol with aliphatic and aromatic anhydrides.[3]
