Serum levels of L-ascorbic acid, commonly known as vitamin C, are an adequate measurement of clinical status. Low levels of vitamin C occur in scurvy, malabsorption, alcoholism, pregnancy, hyperthyroidism, and renal failure.

애플리케이션

L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)-¹³C₆ solution, (¹³C₆-ascorbic acid) may be used as a certified reference material (CRM) for the determination of ascorbate in aqueous solutions and plasma by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.[1]

This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantification of vitamin C levels in serum or other matrices by LC/MS or GC/MS for clinical diagnostic, or forensic analysis applications.
