Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), a constituent of the interleukin-6- (IL-6) activated acute phase response factor (APRF) complex, belongs to the signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) family. It is expressed in all types of tissues. The STAT3 gene with 24 exons is mapped to human chromosome 17q21.2.
免疫原
Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of serine 727 (P-M-S(p)-P-R), according to the protein STAT3.
アプリケーション
Anti-phospho-STAT3 (pSer727) antibody produced in rabbit has been used in immunoblotting (1:1000) and immunofluorescence staining (1:200).[1][2][3][4]
生物化学的/生理学的作用
Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) protein play a key role in cell growth, apoptosis, metabolism, cellular respiration, and autophagy. It may act as a co-activator of signal transduction by glucocorticoid receptors. STAT3 regulates transcription. It is involved in the development of vertebrates and the regulation of inflammation and immunity. It might participate in airway inflammation, allergy, and asthma. Mutations in the STAT3 gene are associated with immunodeficiency, autoimmunity, and cancer.

The transcriptional regulator STAT3 has key roles in vertebrate development and mature tissue function including control of inflammation and immunity. Mutations in human STAT3 associate with diseases such as immunodeficiency, autoimmunity and cancer. Strikingly, however, either hyperactivation or inactivation of

Thoracic traumas with extra-thoracic injuries result in an immediate, complex host response. The immune response requires tight regulation and can be influenced by additional risk factors such as obesity, which is considered a state of chronic inflammation. Utilizing high-dimensional mass
Despite being a high burden disorder, the pathogenesis of severe refractory asthma (SRA) is poorly understood. There are some evidences for the involvement of members of the signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) family, including STAT3 and STAT5a. Our
Despite the availability of various diagnostic procedures, a tissue biopsy is still indispensable for the routine diagnosis of lung cancer. However, inaccurate diagnoses can occur, leading to inefficient cancer management. In this context, use of circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) may serve
