Application
SRM is intended for evaluating analytical methods used to determine ginsenosides and trace elements in ground Asian ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) rhizomes, as well as in similar matrices.
Also, it can be employed for quality assurance when determining values for in-house reference materials.

  • NISTcertified mass fraction values for each analyte in SRM 3384 are provided on adry-mass basis and values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass,expressed as milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg).
  • Non-Certified mass fraction values for analytes in SRM 3384 areprovided on a dry-mass basis and values are metrologically traceable to SI unitof mass fraction expressed as milligrams per gram or milligrams per kilogram.
  • Period of validity, source, instructions for storage, handling,and uses are provided on the NIST certificate.
