アプリケーション

ヒドロキシプロピル-β-シクロデキストリン(HBC)は親油性の薬物と錯体を形成するため、水溶液中の親油性薬物の溶解度はHBCの濃度に比例して増大します。薬物はHBCの非極性のキャビティとの間にゲスト‐ホスト型錯体を形成し、その結果、溶解度が増大します。溶液を凍結させると可溶性の粉末になります。ウサギとマウスに対して毒性を示しません。
