Applicazioni

Anti-HJURP antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry at a dilution of 1:500 against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. The antibodies are also tested using immunofluorescence and western blotting at a dilution of 1:500. Azioni biochim/fisiol

Holliday junction recognition protein (HJURP) is involved in the recruitment of centromere protein A (CENP-A) into nucleosomes at replicated centromeres. It is recruited in the form of a prenucleosomal complex during the early G1 phase of the cell cycle. The centromere targeting domain (CATD) of CENP-A is needed for the recognition of the protein. Thus it is a cell-cycle regulated protein which plays an important role in the centromeric chromatin assembly.
