Palladium on carbon (Pd/C) (5 wt. % loading, matrix carbon powder, wet support) can be used for a variety of applications, such as:
  • a catalyst for hydrodechlorination of dichlorodifluoromethane (CCl2F2), which is a known greenhouse gas[1]
  • a catalyst for Heck reactions of aryl halides in ionic liquids[2]
  • an anode catalyst for the fabrication of direct formic acid fuel cells (DFAFC)[3]
  • a cost-effective electrocatalyst for the oxidation of methanol[4]
  • in the catalytic hydrogenation of chemical hydrides for the production of hydrogen[5]
  • a catalyst in Suzuki-Mayaura reaction[6]
