Nα-苯甲酰基-DL-精氨酸β-萘酰胺盐酸盐在BANA试验中作为底物用于评价Stefin的抑制活性。它也已用作测定胰蛋白酶抑制剂Ki值的底物。

生化/生理作用

Nα-苯甲酰基-DL-精氨酸-β萘酰胺盐酸盐(BANA)有助于测定组织蛋白酶B和木瓜蛋白酶的活性。BANA测试也有助于确定牙周致病菌的牙周部位数量。由口腔细菌在牙菌斑或舌苔中合成的挥发性硫化物(VSC)的存在可以通过其水解N-苯甲酰基-DL-精氨酸-2-萘酰胺的能力进行比色确认。
