4-（2-氨乙基）苯磺酰氟盐酸盐（AEBSF）已用作：
  • 血浆样品中的蛋白酶抑制剂，以防止酰基化胃饥饿素（AG）降解
  • SVSP抑制或AEBSF测定中的蛇毒丝氨酸蛋白酶（SVSP）抑制剂，以测定SVSP的参与度对纤维蛋白原凝血活性的影响
  • NP-40裂解缓冲液的组分，以重悬细胞微球制备细胞裂解物

建议使用浓度为 0.1 至 1mM。

生化／生理作用

AEBSF可抑制乙酰胆碱酯酶（AChE）。
4-（2-氨乙基）苯磺酰氟盐酸盐（AEBSF）是一种不可逆丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂。抑制常数与苯甲磺酰氟（PMSF）和二异丙基氟磷酸（DFP）相似。 经证实，AEBSF可抑制胰蛋白酶、胰凝乳蛋白酶、纤溶酶、激肽释放酶和凝血酶。作为PMSF和DFP的替代品，AEBSF具有较低的毒性，并提高了在水中的溶解性和水溶液中的稳定性。AEBSF可用于浓度高达0.25 mM的细胞培养。
