胰蛋白酶样蛋白酶和半胱氨酸蛋白酶的可逆抑制剂。也已知抑制活化诱导的程序性细胞死亡并恢复HIV+供体的缺陷免疫应答。也可以50 mM的H2O溶液（目录编号509281）提供。
