應用

磷酸铁(III)二水合物(FePO4 x 2H2O)可作为催化剂用于:
  • 通过醛、β-酮酸酯和尿素/硫脲的一锅三组分Biginelli反应生成3,4-二氢嘧啶-2(1H)-酮和硫酮。
  • 通过异丁酸甲酯(MIB)的氧化脱氢反应生成甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)。

还用于合成碳包覆磷酸铁锂(LiFePO4),作为锂离子电池的正极材料。它还是制备磷酸盐玻璃纤维的主要原料。
