The serum- and glucocorticoid-regulated kinase (Sgk1) is a member of the AGC kinase family. It is located on human chromosome 6q23.
Inmunógeno
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human SGK around the phosphorylation site of Ser422.
Immunogen Range: 381-430
Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas
The serum- and glucocorticoid-regulated kinase (Sgk1) controls ENaC (expressed renal epithelial Na+ channel) by mineralocorticoids. SGK1 controls p27 phosphorylation upon the activation by mTOR-Raptor.

Anticancer activities of plant polyphenols have been demonstrated in various models of neoplasia. However, evidence obtained in numerous in vitro studies indicates that proliferation arrest and/or killing of cancer cells require quite high micromolar concentrations of polyphenols that are difficult

Cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) plays important roles in arterial functions and the fate of cells. To further understand its function in vascular remodeling, we examined whether CFTR directly regulates platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB)-stimulated vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs)
