This product is not tested for solubility. Please read the product description carefully. According to the literature, ceftazidime is soluble in water and sparingly soluble in organic solvents.
One publication suggests storage of solutions of ceftazidime at 1 mg/mL in the dark. Hiremath, B., et al., Development and validation of spectrophotometric methods for determination of ceftazidime in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Acta Pharm., 58, 275–285 (2008).
Another publication is a PhD dissertation indicated that states 5.12 mg/mL solutions of ceftazidime in 0.2% sodium carbonate could be stored in 10 mL aliquots at -20 deg C, for 1 month. Jooste, Marius Johannes, "The in vitro antimicrobial activity of amikacin and ceftazidime against multiple resistant gram-negative bacilli in nosocomial infections". Master's thesis, Cape Peninsula University of Technology (1988), p. 57.
