Die H-Serie der LpDNPH-Kartuschen enthält größere Mengen an 2,4-DNPH und/oder größere Bettgewichte als die S10-Serie und die Rezorian-Kartuschen. Dadurch wird die Leistungsfähigkeit von Carbonylen erhöht, weshalb sich die Kartuschen der H-Serie besonders für den Einsatz in Umgebungen mit hoher Konzentration eignen. Die H-Serie ist in 3 verschiedenen Größen erhältlich: H10-Kartuschen (350 mg), H30-Kartuschen (1 g) und H300-Kartuschen (10 g).
LpDNPH H Series Cartridges (H300) is used for the sampling of carbonyls in ambient, indoor, workplace, and source atmospheres. Carbonyls are trapped on a high purity silica adsorbent coated with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (2,4-DNPH), where they are converted to the hydrazone derivatives. The derivatives are eluted from the cartridge in acetonitrile and analyzed by HPLC. Its unique solid phase extraction configuration makes the cartridge easy to use in the field as well as in the laboratory.
