Allgemeine Beschreibung

N-Methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)trifluoracetamid (MSTFA) ist ein Sylierungsreagens.[1]

Geeignet für die Derivatisierung von Aminen, Aminosäuren, Carboxylen, Hydroxylaminen, Indolalkylaminen, N-Nitrosoaminosäuren, Nukleosiden, Phenolalkylaminen, Serotonin und Tryptamin.
MSTFA kann bei der Sylierung zur Bestimmung der Steroidhormone 17α-Ethinylestradiol (EE2) und Estron mittels GC-MS verwendet werden. MSTFA führt in Kombination mit Trimethylsilylchlorid (TMCS) in Ethylacetat-, Acetonitril- und Dichlormethan-Lösungsmitteln zur Bildung von Trimethylsilyl (TMS)- und tert-Butyldimethylsilyl (TBS)-Derivaten.[1]

  1. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.

    1. The 1ML size is packaged in a 5mL amber glass vial with a Schwarz-type septum cap. The vials are then placed in a 10-place overpack box with dividers to protect each vial. Please see the image below of this cap type.
