Beschreibung

Anwendung

Zur Differenzierung von Harnstoff-metabolisierenden Mikroorganismen. Auch schwache Ureaseproduzenten, wie Klebsiella, Enterobakter etc. können differenziert werden. Differenzierung von Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (urea positiv) von Yersinia pestis (urea negativ) gemäss Thal und Chen.

Angaben zur Herstellung

Dissolve 21 g in 950 ml distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. After cooling to 50°C, add aseptically 50ml (10 vials) sterile filtered 40% urea solution (Cat. No. 08582) and let cool as slants.
