Application

2,2′-Bipyridyl may be used for the preparation of aldehydes from primary alcohols via aerobic oxidation using CuI/TEMPO (TEMPO = 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxyl) catalyst system.

Biochem/physiol Actions
