Aplicación

Germanane is novel 2D graphene analog material. However, in sharp contrast to graphene it exhibits semiconducting properties with direct band gap of 1.50 eV. Germanane exhibits high electron mobility and its alkylation allows band gap tuning from 1.50 eV for allyl to 1.62 for methyl germanane. The semiconducting properties of alkylated germanane make them suitable for application is photocatalysis, optoelectronic, sensing etc[1][2][3][4][5]

  1. I would like to talk to someone about Methyl Germane. In particular what cylinder sizes and CGA fittings that are available. I also want to know if I can dilute the Methyl Germane with either H2 or N2 to a 10% Methyl Germane concentration

    1. This product is available in a 1 gram package size. The material is packaged in a 20ml white HDPE Bottle with a PE lined polypropylene cap. It is shipped and stored in a polyamide overpack bag. This product is not available in a cylinder or lecture bottle packaging form. This compound is air-sensitive and should be handled in a glove box and stored under nitrogen. This item is not tested for solubility, it is recommended to review the Peer Reviewed articles located on this product page for additional information.
