Descrizione generale

αL′α-tocoferolo è una forma di vitamina E liposolubile che possiede proprietà antiossidanti, antinfiammatorie, antiproliferative e antitumorali.
Questa sostanza è presente nell′elenco allegato al regolamento (UE) 10/2011 delle sostanze autorizzate ad essere utilizzate nella fabbricazione di materiali e oggetti di plastica destinati a venire a contatto con i prodotti alimentari. Tutti gli altri materiali di riferimento disponibili relativi ai composti elencati nel regolamento UE 10/2021 sono reperibili qui

Applicazioni

Lo standard analitico può essere utilizzato anche come:

  • Determinazione simultanea della vitamina A e di tutti e quattro gli isomeri del tocoferolo in campioni di siero umano mediante cromatografia liquida a prestazioni ultra elevate (UHPLC) abbinata a rilevazione a fluorescenza dopo estrazione liquido-liquido (LLE)
  • Analisi multiresiduo della vitamina B (B1, B2, B5, e B9), e della vitamina E (α-tocoferolo, β-tocoferolo, α-tocotrienolo e β-tocotrienolo) in campioni di erba e di chicchi di quattro varietà differenti di grano mediante cromatografia liquida-ionizzazione elettrospray/spettrometria di massa multistadio (LC-ESI-MS/MS)
  • Separazione e stima di quattro tocoferoli e quattro tocotrienoli in campioni di cultivar di noci di pecan mediante cromatografia liquida ad alte prestazioni in fase inversa non acquosa (NARP-HPLC) abbinata a rivelazione a ionizzazione chimica a pressione atmosferica-spettrometria di massa tandem (APCI-MS/MS)
  • Analisi di campioni differenti di olio spremuto a freddo per rivelare e quantificare gli otto tocoli omologhi utilizzando un approccio basato su cromatografia liquida ad elevate prestazioni (HPLC) con rivelazione a fluorescenza (FLD) e ottimizzato mediante chemiometria
  • Determinazione multiresiduo di tocoferoli nell′olio di arachidi aromatico (APO) e quattro oli vegetali raffinati mediante cromatografia liquida ad elevate prestazioni con rivelatore UV per individuare eventuali adulterazioni.

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.   2. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.
