Application
Zur Verwendung als präzipitierendes Substrat in der Immunhistologie und beim Immunblotting zur Lokalisierung der Peroxidase-Aktivität entwickelt. DAB ist das bevorzugte Immunhistologiesubstrat, weil es eine intensive braun-schwarze Färbung erzeugt, die gegen Alkohol resistent ist. Mit DAB gefärbte Objektträger können getrocknet, in Harzmedien fixiert und zur späteren Verwendung eingelagert werden. SIGMAFAST™-DAB-Tabletten erfordern keine zusätzlichen Puffer oder Schritte für das Ansetzen einer aktiven Substratlösung. Die Tabletten sind einzeln in Folienpackungen verpackt.
Preparation Note
Jeder in 15 mL entionisiertem Wasser aufgelöste Tablettensatz ergibt eine gebrauchsfertige gepufferte Lösung, die DAB und Harnstoff-Wasserstoffperoxid enthält.
