This substance is listed on the positive list of the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics intended to come into contact with food.

Anwendung

4,4′-Difluorobenzophenone (DFBP) may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water samples and DFBP/valerophenone mixture solutions by various chromatography techniques.[3][4][5]
