Stearyl glycyrrhetinate is a stearic acid ester of glycyrrhetinic acid, generally used as a flavoring agent in commercially available cosmetic products.[1]

Anwendung

Stearyl glycyrrhetinate can be used to prepare modified liposomes loaded with norcantharidin[2] and 10-hydroxycamptothecin[3], which are used as drug delivery systems in cancer therapy.
