Descrição geral

Capillary GC column is also known as open tubular column. The carrier gas flows through the central aperture and is unrestricted throughout the length of the column.
Application: This column allows highly reproducible analyses of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs), specifically the omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. It is tested to ensure reproducible FAME equivalent chain length (ECL) values and resolution of key components.
USP Code: This column meets USP G16 requirements.
Phase:
  • Bonded
  • Poly(ethylene glycol)
Temp. Limits:
  • 50 °C to 280 °C (isothermal or programmed)

Aplicação

Capillary GC column coated with Omegawax 250 is used for the absorption of analytes from the aqueous sample in-tube solid-phase microextraction coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography. It also finds application in blood lipid fractions by GC-MS analysis.

This paper deals with the reanalysis of serum lipids from previous studies in which deuterated fatty acids were administered to a single person. Samples were reanalyzed to determine if the deuterated fatty acids were converted to deuterium-labeled conjugated linoleic acid

The technique of automated in-tube solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupled with liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-MS) was evaluated for the determination of beta-blockers in urine and serum samples.
