Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

MAPRE2 (Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB (end-binding) family member 2 recombinant protein) is a microtubule-associated protein belonging to the RP/EB family. It is expressed in normal pancreatic acinar cells and pancreatic cancer cells. MAPRE2 is highly involved in the anaphase-specific cortical blebbing and asymmetric spindle pole movement during mitosis. It plays an important role in the perineural invasion, which indicates a promising approach in the therapy of pancreatic cancer.
