18:1 PEG550 PE is suitable for liposome formation.[3]

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

18:1 PEG550 PE is known to reduce the random binding of quantum dot tagged proteins to the lipid bilayer in liposomes.[3] Polyethylene glycol (PEG) conjugated phospholipids protect the liposome steriochemistry[4] and are recommended for use in liposome formulation.[5]
