Sodium D-isoascorbate monohydrate (NDAM) is an enantiomer of L-ascorbic acid that has an orthorhombic crystal structure. It is mainly used as an antioxidant in the preservation of food and beverages.[1][2][3]
Aplicação
NDAM has non-linear optical properties with enhanced piezoelectric resonance peaks which can be useful for sensor based applications.[4]
