Description générale

Nitinol-core (NIT) SPME fibers were specifically engineered to be more reproducible and more robust than traditional SPME fibers that contain a fused silica (FS) core. The NIT fibers offer > 30% improvement in lot to lot and fiber to fiber reproducibility when compared to the FS versions, but offer equivalent selectivity for easy transfer of methods from FS to the more robust, reproducible NIT version.
We are committed to bringing you greener alternative products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This is a Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME) technology product. SPME is one of the greener technologies for sample preparation as it is solvent free extraction technology and SPME fibres are re-usable and generates as little waste as possible, thus aligns with "Waste Prevention”, and ″Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries″. SPME fibers with CAR/PDMS and PDMS/DVB coatings on nitinol core assembly enhance fiber performance for solid phase microextraction.

Contenu apparenté

La microextraction en phase solide (SPME) est une technique de préparation d'échantillons sans solvant, qui se sert de fibres enrobées pour extraire les analytes d'intérêt de l'échantillon avant analyse par GC ou HPLC.

Solid phase microextraction (SPME) is a solvent-free sample preparation technique that uses coated fibers to extract analytes of interest from a sample before analysis by GC or HPLC.
