How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Hello, is this compound stable in low pH water? I'd like to know if it would be altered in acidified water. I'm assuming the taurine would react to form water and some sort of sulfur compound? (Sorry, organic chem was a long time ago...). Thank you!

Product T0625 (Taurine) is expected to be quite stable in solution, even at acidic pH. If the functional group in question were a sulfate, it could be hydrolyzed at either acidic or basic pH. But Product T0625 contains a sulfonic acid (the acid form of a sulfonate), which is stable at acidic pH.
