General description
Aufgereinigtes Human-IgG wird aus gepooltem normalem Humanserum mittels Fraktionierung und Ionenaustausch-Chromatographie isoliert. Das Produkt wird als im Wesentlichen salzfreies (weniger als 1 % Natrium) lyophilisiertes Pulver geliefert.
Application
IgG aus Humanserum wurde in einer Konzentration von 1,274 mg/ml als Standard im ELISA zur Bestimmung der Antikörperreaktionen auf Porphyromonas gingivalis und Prevotella intermedia eingesetzt.[1] Es wurde zur Immunmarkierung von Vero-, BHK- und PtK2-Zellen in einer Konzentration von 0,2 mg/ml eingesetzt.[2] IgG aus Humanserum wurde als Standard in der SDS- PAGE von Anti-Shigella LPS-Antikörpern eingesetzt.[3]
Biochem/physiol Actions
Der IgG-Antikörper-Untertyp ist das am reichlichsten vorhandene Serumimmunglobulin des Immunsystems. Er wird von B-Zellen sezerniert, ist in Blut und extazellulären Flüssigkeiten zu finden und bietet Schutz vor Infektionen durch Bakterien, Schimmelpilze und Viren. Maternales IgG wird durch die Plazenta zum Föten übertragen und ist für die Immunabwehr von Neonaten gegen Infektionen lebensnotwendig.[4]
