Allgemeine Beschreibung
Anti HA-FITC is a mouse monoclonal antibody derived from the HA-7 hybridoma. It is isolated from ascites fluid and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate, isomer I (FITC). The antibody recognizes the HA tag expressed on the N- or C-terminus on HA tagged H7411proteins. The antibody reacts specifically with HA tagged proteins by immunocytochemistry.
Hemagglutinin (HA) is the major envelope glycoprotein of the influenza virus, along with neuraminidase.[1]
Spezifität
Der Antikörper erkennt native sowie durch Denaturierung reduzierte Formen des HA-getaggten Proteins und reagiert mit am N- oder C-Endpunkt HA-getaggten Fusionsproteinen, die in E. coli oder in Säugetierzellen exprimiert werden.
Immunogen
An KLH konjugiertes synthetisches Peptid, das einem Fragment des Hämagglutinins (HA) des menschlichen Grippevirus, genannt HA-Tag, entspricht.
Anwendung
Antibody suitable for Immunofluorescence. Recommended concentration 1-5 mg/ml. For immunocytochemistry, use HA tagged fusion protein transfected into mammalian cells, then fixed with paraformaldehyde. Anti-HA-FITC antibody, Mouse monoclonal has been used:
- in the labeling of HA-tagged transient receptor potential melastatin 7 (TRPM7) channel protein for immunocytochemistry studies in lymphoblast cell DT40 and human embryonic kidney cells (HEK-293) cells[2]
- in western blotting detection of spindle-associated proteins in Trypanosoma brucei[3]
- in immunostaining of vascular smooth muscle cells (SMCs) for immunocytofluorescence studies[4]
