Die Stericup® und Steritop® Filtrationssysteme bieten mühelose Handhabung und zuverlässige Filtrierung.

Die Stericup® und Steritop® Systeme für die Sterilfiltration unter Vakuum verwenden zuverlässige Hochleistungsmembranen für eine optimale Sterilfiltration von Laborreagenzien, Puffern und Medien. Diese Einheiten bieten hervorragende Durchfluss- und Durchsatzraten mit geringer unspezifischer Bindung und ein stabiles Design mit Kippschutz.

Diese Stericup® Membranfiltereinheit aus Polyvinylidenfluorid (PVDF) mit einer Porengröße von 0,22 μm besteht aus einem 500-ml-Flaschenaufsatz und einer 500-ml-Auffangflasche mit Deckel für die Verarbeitung und Lagerung.
Dieses Produkt ist ein direkter Ersatz für SCGVU05RE

Anwendung

Die Stericup® und Steritop® Systeme sind dazu ausgelegt, Schaumbildung und Proteindenaturierung zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig den Durchfluss zu maximieren. Sie eignen sich für die sterile Vakuumfiltration von wässrigen Lösungen wie Gewebekulturmedien und biologischen Flüssigkeiten.

Leistungsmerkmale und Vorteile

  • Der Schnellverschluss-Filtertrichter wird mit nur einer Vierteldrehung von der Auffangflasche—getrennt, was die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Verschüttens verringert und die Handhabung auf dem Labortisch oder unter dem Abzug erleichtert.
  • Die fettgedruckte Produktkennzeichnung auf dem Steritop® Filtertrichter zeigt deutlich die Membraneigenschaften einschließlich Zusammensetzung und Porengröße an und ermöglicht so eine unmittelbare, anwendungsgerechte Produktauswahl.
  • Der Deckel mit Klickverschluss und Flansch hat eine spezielle Form für einen sicheren Griff unter nassen oder trockenen Bedingungen.—Die taktile Rückmeldung bestätigt den sicheren Verschluss. Damit wird die Möglichkeit eines Verschüttens oder einer Kontamination des sterilisierten Inhalts deutlich verringert.
  • Die große mattierte Beschriftungsfläche auf der Auffangflasche und die hellere Deckelfarbe erleichtern die eindeutige Beschriftung für eine verbesserte Lesbarkeit und weniger Unleserlichkeiten.
  • Der Deckel mit Klickverschluss kommt auf der Seite zu liegen, um das Risiko einer Kontamination zu vermeiden.
  • Die Auffangflaschen sind platzsparend stapelbar.

    1. You can successfully freeze and store many aqueous solutions (such as culture media) in Stericup® bottles at temperatures up to -20 °C (-4 °F). It is strongly recommended that you run a sample stability trial under your actual storage conditions prior to using Stericup® bottles for frozen storage.

    1. Steritop® Quick Release bottle top units require a vacuum-rated receiver bottle with either a GL33 or GL45 mm closure thread as specified. Steritop® E bottle top units require a vacuum-rated receiver bottle with a GL45 mm closure thread. Bottles no larger than 2 L should be used.

  9. What is the maximum processing volume for Stericup® and Steritop® filters? Can I add more volume after initial filtration?

    1. All Stericup® and Steritop® filters were developed for single-use application. The maximum volume is dependent on the receiver bottle capacity. Stericup® filters come with a receiver bottle with a specified maximum volume. For Steritop® filters, the maximum recommended volume is 2 L with an appropriate-sized receiver bottle. Larger processing volumes can result in membrane fouling, increase chance of spillage and contamination, and lead to possible airlock*.
      *Note that devices with PES membranes can airlock if filtered to dryness. Some liquid must be left on top of the filter, then the system stopped, receiver changed or emptied, and more sample volume added before restart. This increases the chance of spillage.
