General description
Der hydrophile 0,22 μm Millipak® Membranfilter erzeugt partikel- und bakterienfreies Wasser an der Entnahmestelle der Milli-Q® Integral, Milli-Q® Advantage A10, Milli-Q® Direct, Milli-Q® Reference und Milli-Q® Reference A+ Wasseraufbereitungssysteme. Der Filter ist mit einem asymmetrischen 0,22-μm-Polyethersulfon(PES)-Membranfilter ausgestattet, der auf einem Styrol-Acrylnitril-Gehäuse hitzeversiegelt ist. Dadurch wird die Freisetzung von organischen und anorganischen extrahierbaren Substanzen minimiert.
Application
Erzeugt gefiltertes Wasser, das sich für die meisten im Labor verwendeten analytischen Methoden eignet (z. B. bei der Vorbereitung von Lösungen, die in der Spektralphotometrie, bei pH-Messungen, für Titrationen, bei der Atomabsorption, bei Analysen nach Kjeldahl und bei HPLC-Analysen verwendet werden).
Features and Benefits
- Die Membran wird durch eine starre Kunststoffscheibe mit Kanälen abgestützt und stellt hohe Fließraten sowie Beständigkeit gegen Druckschwankungen ohne Gefahr vor Membranrissen sicher.
- Die Millipak® Membranfilter sind in einem besonderen Stacked-Disk-Format ausgelegt, das ein minimales Rückhaltevolumen und Partikelabscheidung ermöglicht.
- Die Filter sind mit einem asymmetrischen 0,22-μm-Polyethersulfon(PES)-Membranfilter ausgestattet, der auf einem Styrol-Acrylnitril(SAN)-Gehäuse hitzeversiegelt ist.
- Die konischen Poren der Membran ermöglichen hohe Fließraten bei einem niedrigen Differenzdruck.
- Die Membran, das Gehäusematerial und die Herstellungsprozesse wurden so ausgewählt, dass die Freisetzung von organischen und anorganischen extrahierbaren Substanzen minimiert wird.
- Er wird an der Entnahmestelle von Wasseraufbereitungssystemen wie den POD-Entnahmeeinheiten von Milli-Q® Systemen installiert.
- Die Glocke schützt gegen Eindringen von luftübertragenen Bakterien während der Wasserentnahme.
- Jeder Filter wird einzeln getestet und mit einem Qualitätszertifikat geliefert.

How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.
