General description
Der hydrophile Millipak® 0,22-μm-Membranfilter erzeugt partikel- und bakterienfreies Wasser an der Entnahmestelle der Wasseraufbereitungssysteme. Der Filter ist mit einem asymmetrischen 0,22-μm-PES(Polyethersulfon)-Membranfilter ausgestattet, der auf einem Styrol-Acrylnitril-Gehäuse hitzeversiegelt ist. Dadurch wird die Freisetzung von organischen und anorganischen extrahierbaren Substanzen minimiert.
Application
Durch diesen Filter gefiltertes aufgereinigtes Wasser eignet sich für alle Laborarbeiten, bei denen bakterien- oder partikelfreies Wasser benötigt wird.

- Die Einheit wurde als eine sichere und effiziente Barriere gegen Partikel und Bakterien entwickelt.
- Die konischen Poren der Membran ermöglichen hohe Fließraten bei einem niedrigen Differenzdruck.
- Die Membran, das Gehäusematerial und die Herstellungsprozesse wurden so ausgewählt, dass die Freisetzung von organischen und anorganischen extrahierbaren Substanzen minimiert wird.
- Die Membran wird durch eine starre Kunststoffscheibe mit Kanälen abgestützt und stellt hohe Fließraten sowie Beständigkeit gegen Druckschwankungen ohne Gefahr vor Membranrissen sicher.
- Er wird an der Entnahmestelle von Wasseraufbereitungssystemen wie den POD-Entnahmeeinheiten von Milli-Q® installiert.
- Die Glocke schützt gegen Eindringen von luftübertragenen Bakterien während der Wasserentnahme.
- Problemlose Instandhaltung: Der Filter lässt sich einfach einbauen und austauschen.
- Nicht steril. Jede Einheit wird hermetisch versiegelt und mit einem Qualitätszertifikat ausgeliefert.

If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.

How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.
