General description

Ein zellpermeabler, selektiver, reversibler und um ATP konkurrierender Inhibitor der Rho-Kinase Aktivität(IC₅₀ = 25 µ;M). Hemmt jedoch nicht die Aktivierung der Rho-Kinase und hat keine Wirkung auf die In-vitro-Aktivitäten von MLCK, PKCα;, und SAPK2a/p38α;. Zeigt eine 5-fach geringere Potenz als Y-27632 (Best.-Nr. 688000; IC₅₀ ~5 µ;M) und hat ein ähnliches Spezifitätsprofil wie H-89 (Best.-Nr. 371963). Wirkt auf die Zellmigration, hemmt Bläschenbildung (IC₅₀ ~ 12 µ;M in M2-Zellen) und reduziert Stressfasern in Bulb-3T3-Zellen bei 50 µ;M.
