Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable Pyrimidinyl-Verbindung, die entzündungshemmende Eigenschaften aufweist. Wirkt als starker, reversibler und ATP-kompetitiver Inhibitor der c-Jun N-terminalen Kinase (JNK, IC₅₀ = 150, 220 und 70 nM für hJNK1, hJNK2 bzw. hJNK3) mit einer 10- bis 100-fach höheren Selektivität gegenüber einem Panel von 25 weiteren häufig untersuchten Kinasen (IC₅₀ in der Regel im Bereich von 1–10 µ;M oder keine Wirkung bei 10 µ;M). in-vivo wurde seine Wirksamkeit an Wüstenrennmäusen, Mäusen und Ratten bei oraler, intravenöser oder intraperitonealer Verabreichung nachgewiesen.
