General description

Brillantgrün und Ochsengalle in der Mossel-Bouillon hemmen die unerwünschte begleitende Bakterienflora nahezu vollständig. Die hohe Pufferkapazität des Kulturmediums verhindert, dass die gebildete Säure die Kultur abtötet. Glucose ist die wichtigste Energiequelle und fördert das schnelle Wachstum aller Enterobacteriaceae, während der enzymatische Aufschluss von Tiergewebe als Quelle für Stickstoff, Vitamine und Aminosäuren dient.

Application

Mossel-Bouillon eignet sich für die mikrobiologische Untersuchung von nicht sterilen pharmazeutischen Produkten, Lebensmitteln und anderen Materialien. Es wurde für die selektive Anreicherung von gallentoleranten, gramnegativen Bakterien und insbesondere Enterobacteriaceae entwickelt.
