Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeabler Inhibitor von Phospholipase A₂, der die durch Epinephrin stimulierte Thromboxanerzeugung in Blutplättchen blockiert. Hemmt die durch ATP stimulierte Sekretion von Phosphatidylcholin (PC) in Alveolarzellen vom Typ II. Blockiert außerdem Phorbolester und die durch A23187 eingeleitete PC-Sekretion in Typ-II-Zellen. Blockiert Berichten zufolge die durch Glucose eingeleitete Insulinsekretion in β-Zellen des Pankreas. Zeigt eine moderate Leukotrien-Antagonistenaktivität.

Hemmt die durch Epinephrin stimulierte Erzeugung von Thromboxan (86 % bei 3,5 μmol/l) durch die Hemmung von Phospholipase A₂ (PLA₂) in humanen Blutplättchen. Blockiert außerdem die durch Glucose eingeleitete Insulinsekretion in Langerhans-Inseln. Besitzt eine moderate Leukotrien-Antagonistenaktivität.
