Application
2-Chloroanthracene was employed as model compound to investigate the formation of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans in fly ash. It was also used in the synthesis of polyfluorenes having anthraquinone or naphtylimide end caps.
