These products may be autoclaved at 121°C at 15 psi for 20 minutes. Drying can be done in the autoclave drying cycle for approximately 10 minutes or by air-drying. These pestles may also be cleaned with household or industrial cleaning detergents by hand, in an automatic dish washer, or with alcohol for sterilization. It is important not to use heat greater than 121°C (250°F) to prevent damage to the product.

Pestle Motor Z359971 can be used with any Pestle with a shaft diameter range of 2.4 - 6.4 mm. BelArt disposable pestles have a diameter of 0.18 inches (= 4.6 mm), thus they can be used.
