Biochem/physiol Actions

H₂ histamine receptor antagonist; I₁ imidazoline receptor agonist; anti-ulcer agent. Blocks cancer metastasis by inhibiting the expression of E-selectin on the surface of endothelial cells, thus blocking tumor cell adhesion.
