General description

Nonacosane is a major paraffin of most plant waxes[1].The metabolic fate of n-nonacosane (from cabbage wax) in Micrococcus cerificans, a soil organism has been investigated[2]. Solubility of solid n-nonacosane in supercritical ethane has been reported.
