Hexamethonium bromide has been used:

Biochem/physiol Actions

Hexamethonium bromide is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) antagonist. It preferentially blocks nicotinic receptors at autonomic ganglia. It can cross the blood-brain barrier only at high doses.
