Specificity
Although VEGF was detectable in non-human primate, feline, and canine plasma, the assay has not been validated for these species.
Cross Reactivity:
The SMC® Human VEGF-A High Sensitivity Immunoasay Kit was not found to be cross-reactive with the following:
- rhVEGF-B
- rhVEGF-C
- rhVEGF-D
Accuracy:
- Minimum of 5 serum samples spiked with average recovery of 103% with a range of 95-110%
- Minimum of 5 plasma samples spiked with average recovery of 93% with a range of 80-107%
