Scopolamine is an anti-muscarinic and cholinolytic alkaloid that inhibits parasympathetic-cholinergic system.[2] The central effects include hallucinations, disorientation, restlessness and euphoria.[3] Scopolamine disturb the stimulus detection performance in rats by interfering with the reticular cholinergic pathways.[4]
